Tour Overview

Day 1

Arrival in Kathmandu and Sightseeing

Upon arrival in Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport, meet with our representative and and proceed for sightseeing tour to Pashupatinath Temple. (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Pashupatinath is one of the holiest pilgrimage destinations for all the Hindus of the world. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, one of the trinity and the guardian (patron) deity of Nepal.

This is one of the oldest temples, situated on the banks of the Holy Bagmati River. It is double – roofed golden temple with four triple silver doorways. Pashupatinath covers an area of 281 hectares, which is one of the biggest temple complexes in Nepal. Although Pashupatinath Temple was only built in the fifth century and later renovated by Malla kings, the holy site is said to have existed from the beginning of the millennium.

Lastly we will visit the Great Stupa of Boudhanath (UNESCO World Heritage Site) a vast dome-shaped monument representing the Mind of the Buddha. It is the primary pilgrimage destination for Tantric Buddhists of the Himalayas and a major draw for Tibetan Buddhists from all over the planet. The history of the Stupa from its origins in the fifth century to the present day is also presented here for the first time.’ Drive back to hotel.

Day 2

Kathmandu – Chitwan (5 hrs drive)

After breakfast, drive to Chitwan National Park. Chitwan offers one of the finest wildlife experiences in Asia. Chitwan is famous for the endangered one-horned Rhino, Tiger and many wildlife species of birds and animals. Enjoy Cultural dance in the evening.

Day 3

Chitwan Jungle Activities

Today you will be escorted by expert naturalist on various exciting activities including elephant back Safari, Canoe ride, Jungle walk, Bird watching etc. In the evening you can walk around the nearby village to witness daily life of locals.

Day 4

Chitwan – Lumbini & Sightseeing (3.5 hrs drive)

After breakfast, leave for Bhairawa (Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha). On arrival, check-in to the hotel. After lunch, there will be a sightseeing of Lumbini with a visit to the birthplace of Lord Buddha.

Day 5

Lumbini - Pokhara (7 hrs drive)

After our breakfast, we will drive to Pokhara which is the second largest and the most beautiful city in Nepal. Upon arrival check in to the hotel and proceed for boating in Fewa Lake. In the evening you can explore the beautiful lake side area on your own.

Day 6

Pokhara Sightseeing

Wake up early morning to take a short 30 minutes drive to Sagrangkot which is located at a height of 1600m. Sarangkot is renowned for its beautiful sunrise view and panoramic mountain views. Guests can enjoy the beautiful scenery for a while and drive back to hotel and breakfast. Later a half day sightseeing tour of Pokhara is in store for you. We will be visiting Bndebasini Temple, Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, Davis Fall, the old town of Pokhara & Tibetean Refugee camp. There will be 1 hour boating in Lake Fewa to enjoy the lake view and the mountains. After the sightseeing, you can walk around lake side area which is filled with shops, cafes & restaurants

Day 7

Pokhara – Kathmandu (6 hrs drive)

After breakfast we will drive to Kathmandu enjoying the natural views along the way. Upon arrival, check in to hotel and free in the evening.
In the evening we will proceed for farewell dinner with cultural show.

Day 8

Departure

After breakfast, free time until departure to Airport with lots of memories of Nepal.
