Breakfast at hotel and proceed for the city tour of Bangalore.
Bangalore – Bangalore is also called the “Pensioner’s Paradise” and the “Garden City of India” which is a metropolitan city of India with large population and most amazing places to see. Bangalore is also known as Silicon Valley of India. It is located in the state of Karnataka and is also known as hub of the IT industry. There are various places in Bangalore that are worth visiting which includes temples, museums, gardens, palaces etc. Bangalore is famous for its information technology sector. It is also the cosmopolitan city in the country. it has plenty of things to share with the tourists coming from other countries.
Drive Past Vidhan Soudha –Parliament of Karnataka state, visit Bangalore Palace- An open patio offers rooms for concerts, exhibits and cultural events. Special features within the palace structure include exquisite carvings, paintings and portraits of the Viceroys, Maharajas and other renowned individuals. Inside the palace complex you will find an amusement park called as Fun World. The Royal Architectural Masterpiece, decorates turreted parapets, battlements, defended towers and arches modelled on Windsor Castle in England.
Lalbagh – Lalbagh in Bangalore is a renowned botanical garden (Bengaluru). A diversity of plants and wildlife are housed in this garden. There are numerous bird species, such as Myna, Common Egret, Parakeets and Pond Heron, etc.
Evening free to enjoy nightlife of Bangalore as it’s famous for Pub hopping. Overnight

Srirangapatnam – Capital of Tipu Sultan. An island site in the Kaveri River, Srirangapatnam, 12km from Mysore, has been home to religious reformers and military might since the 10th century. Vishnu Sri Ranganathasvam Temple, from which the town’s name is derived, is in fact older than the town and fort.In the 18th century the fort, originally built by the Vijayanagar kings became the capital for Haidar Ali. Upon his father’s demise Tipu Sultan also used the fort as his headquarters.
Within triple fortifications, most of which were destroyed by the British, are the Jama Masjid, the Daria Daulat Bagh (summer palace) and the Gumbaz, all built by Tipu Sultan. The summer palace, built in 1784 has colourful frescos, ornamental arches and gilded paintings on the teak wood walls; the palace in its garden setting is beautiful. The museum houses some of Tipu Sultans possessions as well as some 19th century artwork. The gumbaz, (the family mausoleum) was built in memory of Haider Ali.
Arrive Mysore and check-in at hotel. Evening visit Brindavan GardensBrindavan Gardens – Lies adjoining the Krishnarajasagara Dam which is built across the river Kaveri. It is spread across an area of 60 acres. Adjoining it is also a fruit orchard spread across 75 acres and 02 horticultural farms, Nagavana (30 acres) and Chandravana (5 acres).
The main attraction of the park is the musical fountain in which bursts of water are synchronised to the music of songs. There is also a lake within the garden with boating facilities available for visitors. Overnight stay at hotel in Mysore

Mysore – Mysore , Karnataka’s second largest city, is famous for royal palaces, gardens, silks and sandalwood. With shady avenues and a pleasant climate this elegant city, with its fading grandeur and stunningly opulent architecture, is also the perfect place for leisurely shopping.
Mysore Palace –The Palace of the Maharaja, designed by Henry Irwin was built in 1897 after the old wooden palace was destroyed in a fire. One of the largest palaces in the country and beautifully restored it houses many art treasures, wall paintings and ivory inlaid doors. The palace is a harmonious synthesis of Hindu and Saracenic styles of architecture with archways, domes, turrets, colonnades and sculptures, all of which are magnificent. Later Visit the Chamarajendra Art Gallery with its collection of Indian miniatures and numerous artifacts. At the top of Chamundi hill to the southeast of the city is Chamundeshwari Temple. Dedicated to Durga the temple celebrates her victory over the buffalo god. On a clear day the views from this vantage point are wonderful. Overnight Hotel.

Mysore – Hassan(115 Kms/3 Hrs)

Breakfast Drive to Hassan Afternoon visit Halebid & Belur Temples Overnight

Belur – The Hoysala’s who ruled a large kingdom between the Krishna and Kaveri Rivers, made Belur their first capital. Patrons of art and lovers of all things cultural, they encouraged competition between master craftsmen and after their victory over the Cholas at Talakad they built the Chennakesavara Temple. Dedicated to Krishna, the temple, built over 900 years ago, is an exquisite example of Hoysala architecture and is embellished with numerous carvings and beautifully intricate details. Also worth visiting are the Jain Bastis a few km away.
Halebid –Dvarasamudra the ancient capital of the Hoysala Empire, 39km from Hassan, was renamed Halebid (old city) after it was attacked by the Delhi Sultanate in 1327. With two shrines dedicated to Shiva and stunning half-life size statues of Hindu deities Halebid’s exquisitely carved in the 12th century, Hoysaleswara Temple is the main draw to this town. The Kedareswara Temple, although smaller and simpler in design, is also remarkable for its (lathe turned) multi faceted pillars.

Hassan – Hospet(350 Kms/6-7 Hrs

Hampi – Following breakfast at hotel, proceed for same day excursion to Hampi – With its monopoly on the trade of cotton and spices was incredibly wealthy. With ornate palaces plated in gold, opulent temples and markets full of luxury goods the seat of the Vijayanagara Empire rivalled Rome in its grandeur. Known as Vijayanagara (‘the town of victory’) the bolder strewn site was strategically chosen and the ingenious skill of the master craftsmen’s architecture blended their buildings into the landscape. Destroyed by the Deccan Sultans in 1565, the 26sq km site sits on the banks of the Tungabhadra River and is one of India’s most impressive historical sites.Notable amongst the many ruins are the Virupaksha Temple with its 9-storey gopuram and the Vitthala Temple dedicated to Vishnu. It is now a World Heritage Monument. The Queens bath that measures an impressive 15m long has interesting stuccowork around it and was filled from beautiful lotus shaped fountains.

Hampi , Karnataka

Also impressive is the 2-storey Lotus Mahal in the Zenana screened off by high walls, the Hazara Rama Temple in the Royal Enclosure and the 14th century Vaishnavite Narasimha Temple. Later return to hotel in Hospet. Overnight stay at hotel in Hospet .
Day 8
Hospet - Ailohle – Pattadakal - Badami(150 Kms)

Breakfast Drive to Badami En route visit Aihole & Pattadkal Temples Overnight

Ailohle Pattadakal – The cities of Aihole, Pattadakal and Badami are for anyone interested in art and architecture. Situated amid tough outcrops, the cities of Aihole, Pattadakkal and Badami, which dominated Central and Southern India between the 5th and 12th centuries, were built by the Halukya dynasty. Each has several magnificent rock-cut temples representing diverse colourful Indian mythology stories and chronicles ancient civilization’s architectural splendour.

Badami- Hubli- Dandeli(175 Kms/ 4-5 hrs)

Badami – Badami has a significant part in Karnataka’s historical history 23 Km from Pattadakal. The entrance of a valley between two Rocky Mountains lies picturesquely in Badami. Badami’s magnificent sculptures and sandstone cliffs give rise to numerous stories from the past. It is only one step away from four rock-covered groves ornamented with old carved pillars and bracket figures, made out of red sandstone. The cellars overlook the lake of Agastya Theertha, with a collection of Bhutanatha Temples on its shores.
Hubli –Hubli is Karnataka’s second biggest town and the city of Dharwad is the agglomeration town with the largest urban zone in Bangalore. Hubli is North Karnataka’s capital and one of the fastest developing towns. Hubli was known in the ancient times as Rayara Hubli and Purballi. In Ancient Hubli there existed the Temple of Bhavani Sankara and the Jaina vasti. The main farmed and exported cotton, iron and salt-peter were Hubli.

Badami, Karnataka

The city prospered as a commercial area during the reign of the Vijayanagara Empire. Hubli was afterwards the ruler of the Mughals in the 17th century, and later Rayara Hubli was adopted by Savanur Nawabs and an expansion was built called Majidpura.
The Chitradurga Fort – is the first and most important structure in the minds of tourists simply stating the name of the region. It is classed as “Giridurga,” i.e., a Hill Fort, this powerful stronghold with 7 concentric walls. This seven-pinnacle hill is known as the “Chinmuladri” which has seven rows around a central hill named ‘toppada kola,’ which is on the eastern and northeastern slopes on hill Hidimbeshwara and on the western side, on the south side is the Kahalebatheri and on the southern side are the Lal-Bathheri and the Nallikayisiddappa

Dandeli

This day is dedicated for jungle activities. Morning we go for a thrilling Whitewater rafting and in the afternoon for a Jungle safari on an open jeep.
Dandeli – In the West Indian state of Karnataka, Dandeli is a town. Dandeli’s wildlife sanctuary is home to creatures such as black spruce, monkeys, elephants and many types of birds with its pathways and deep woods. At the entrance of the calestone Kavala Caves lies a temple noted for its stalagmites. The Kali Tiger Reserve is situated west of the grounds, Anshi National Park. Dandeli is a wonderful town huddled among the endless mountains of Western Ghats.
Dandeli, which has long been recognised across the country for the rich teakwoods, has also drawn many large businesses into its rich natural resources – the forest, the river and the fertile soil – in the decades before and after independence. Today, the picturesque city is a renowned tourist resort. People pick Dandeli for a real experience in the natural lap.
This region was named part of Anshi Dandeli Tiger Reserve in 2006, measuring 339,87 square kms (83,980 hectares). On 4 June 2015, under the Elephant project, the state government of Karnataka formally informed the Dandeli Elephant Reserve.
The elephant reserve covers a surface area of 2.321 km2 comprising 475 km2. Dandeli, which was designated in 2002, is the second reserve of elephant after Mysuru. Some 200 kinds of birds are known as the huge hornbill and the Malabar Pie Hornbill. One of the biggest bird species is known as Dandeli

While you are on the raft there is no moment of quiet so that you drink not just the water but also the delight. Once your ride starts, you may traverse the whole distance for more than an hour. Remember, very few individuals would have had Whitewater rafting, therefore you had a lot to gloat about it!

Please note- if in case Whitewater rafting is not possible due to high water level in river, we shall do some other activity like, Jungle trekking, Bird watching or Boating.

Goa- In 1961, Goa was emancipated from Portuguese control as a small, green land on the western coast of India, India’s 25th state of the Union. The territory of Union of Goa, Daman & Diu was created as a distinct state till 30 May 1987. Goa has an area of 3702 km2 and includes two income areas of the Nord Goa and South Goa districts. In the northern Terekhol River it is defined by Goan State Boundaries, in the east and south it divides from that of the Maharashtra, in the east and the west from the Arabian Sea. Goa is located at 594 km from the west coast of India (by route) from Mumbai town.
Goa is one of the top choices for the beach lovers. Thousands of tourists visit Goa every year from all over the world for its beaches. Goa is also famous among the nightlife lovers.

In comparison with other Indian states Goa is not very populous, but is one of India’s most visited sites in terms of tourist footfall. Goa is mostly renowned for beaches, as it has over 30 beaches, but is also one of the most popular tourist sites in India, thanks to its architecture and culture. It is also the greatest party location for seafood enthusiasts. It will certainly not disappoint the water sports fan.
