Ajmer a beautiful city located in state of Rajasthan in India. It is also known as "Get Way To Pushkar''. Ajmer is significant for pilgrimage display of muslim religion, tomb, Dargah and monuments. All men and women have to cover their head and inside the Dargah women are not allowed to enter the hall where the priest chants. There are no charges to enter the place but you need to donate money at several stage. You will find number of beggars but instead of money they seek for food. You have to walk bare foot inside the Dargah. Nareli is place for jain religion. Beautiful temples and their architecture are worth seeing. This place also offers delicious food for vegetarians. Anna Sagar is a reservoir of Ajmer. The amazing part is that it is a manmade lake.
Just beside it there is Daulat Bagh. A wide spread garden which is surrounded by marble and best place to relax particularly on hot day. Sitting there you can munch peanuts, papad or chips which is easily accessible inside the garden.
Shah Jahan's Mosque is the most wonderful and beautiful structure among all others built in Ajmer. It is finished with white granite. It will be a delight to your eyes.
Emperor Akbar's royal residence is now exploited as a museum. It portrays an exceptional collection of Mughal and Rajput armour, and some fine monument.
There is a market in Ajmer especially made for women which is known as "Mahila Mandi". Women can just ask for it and get most beautiful and colorful skirts, curtains, kurties, home decorative products, etc. Ajmer will also give you way to visit Pushkar.
