Lord Buddha is the founder of Buddhism. Lord Buddha born in Lumbini and spend their life in Kapilvastu. Buddha got enlightenment in Bodhgaya. Lumbini, Bodhgaya, Sarnath and Kushinagar are the most sacred places of Buddhism.

Day 01 : Arrive Delhi

Welcome to the land of Buddha, India. Erco Travels' representatives will be there at the airport to welcome you and will help you transfer to the hotel. After a tiring flight, it is time to relax and unwind at the hotel.

Day 02 : Delhi

Enjoy your breakfast in the hotel. Your tour begins with the full-day sightseeing at various tourist attractions in Delhi. You can visit the Qutab Minar, India Gate, Red Fort, Humayun's Tomb, Parliament House, Akshardham Temple and Lotus Temple. Spare time can be used in shopping or wandering. Get back at the hotel in the night.

Day 03 : Delhi - Jaipur

After the breakfast, depart for Jaipur by surface, which will take around four hours. On arrival in Jaipur, transfer to the hotel for check-in and resting. After lunch, you can spend your time as you like. You will be spending the night at the hotel.

Day 04 : Jaipur

The fourth day of your tour is going to be a busy one as you will be going on an excursion of Jaipur, the pink city of India. Enjoy a royal elephant ride to Amber Fort followed by a visit to the Palace of Wind or Hawal Mahal. Then, visit the Nawab Sahab Ki Haveli, the Royal Observatory called the Jantar Mantar and the City Palace. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 05 : Jaipur - Agra

On the fifth day after breakfast, it is now time to take a roadtrip to Agra. Before reaching Agra, first visit the Fatehpur Sikri that lies just outside the Agra city. Fatehpur Sikri is a ghost Mughal town, which was constructed to be the next capital city of Mughal Empire. After reaching Agra, check-in at the hotel for refreshing. After lunch and some resting, proceed for a half-day tour of Agra, which includes sightseeing at the famous Taj Mahal, Itmad-ud-daula's Tomb and the Agra Fort. Get back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 06 : Agra - Varanasi

After breakfast, you will proceed to the airport to board the next flight to Varanasi. On your arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel for check-in and a little relaxing. Now head to Sarnath, which is an important place for Buddhist pilgrimage. Gautama Buddha gave his first preaching in Sarnath. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 07 : Varanasi

Varanasi is a holy city for the Hindus. On the seventh day, take an early-morning boat ride of the Ganges River to see the holy ritual called 'aarti' performed near the ghats. Afterwards, return to the hotel for breakfast. Later proceed for a day tour of Varanasi, which includes a visit to Vishwanath Temple and Bharat Mata Temple. Evening time is free for exploring Varanasi. Spend the night back at the hotel.

Day 08 and Day 09 : Varanasi - Bodhgaya

The eighth day of this tour is for relaxing and exploring the areas around Varanasi. In the evening depart for Bodhgaya by surface. It is an important Buddhist worship place. On arrival, you will be transferred to hotel for spending the night. On day nine after breakfast, visit the Bodhi Tree, Mahabodhi Stupa, Tergar Monastery and few other important religious sites. Also visit the Nalanda city the seat for Buddhist learning and education for centuries. Get back to the hotel for the night.

Day 10 : Bodhgaya - Vaishali - Kushinagar

After the breakfast, proceed to Vaishali, which holds many important places for worship for Buddhist. Here, Gautama Buddha gave his last preaching before his death. Afterwards, proceed to Kushinagar, which is about 170 km away from Vaishali. On arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel for spending the night.

Day 11 : Kushinagar - Lumbini

Kushinagar is one of the four important places of pilgrimage for Buddhist. You can visit the Mahaparinirvana Stupa and the place of Gautama Buddha's cremation. Proceed to Lumbini and on arrival, check-in at the hotel and spend the night.

Day 12 : Lumbini - Kapilvastu - Sravasti - Balrampur

Visit the Ashoka's Pillar, 10 km away from Lumbini. Next visit the Mayadevi temple and ruins of an old Buddhist monastery. After lunch, drive to Sravasti to visit the ruins of the Jetavana Monastery, an important Buddhist pilgrimage site. Continue your drive towards Balrampur. On arrival, check-in and spend the night in the hotel.

Day 13 : Balrampur - Lucknow

Take the city tour of Balrampur after breakfast. Drive to Lucknow in the afternoon. On arrival, check-in and spend the night at the hotel.

Day 14 : Lucknow

Lucknow is the capital of Uttar Pradesh. After the breakfast, visit the Rumi Darwaza and the Bara Imambara. Transfer to the airport to catch the next flight to Delhi in the evening. On arrival, check-in and stay at the hotel.

Day 15 : Departure Delhi

After the breakfast on the final day of the tour, you will be transferred to the airport to board the next flight to the home country. Thank you and visit again.
